Women and Teen Self Defense Class to Support Blind Judo!

11:00am – 2:00pm

This is workshop committed to teaching critical self-protection skills to our diverse community. This unique form of self-defense teaches the social, emotional, mental as well as physical skills necessary to avoid most confrontations.   Should an assailant escalate to the physical realm, students are ready to respond accordingly with easy to master physical skills that any body type can learn quickly.

In our 3-hour workshop, students experience adrenaline based training with a simulated attacker at full force.   In this session students learn to exercise what we have taught in a realistic, yet supportive environment.

Our classes are a quick fix for those that need to defend themselves and want to have fun learning it.

We strongly believe, no one should be denied this education, and as such, we have committed to teaching our skills to young women in the public schools here in the bay area free of charge.   The Hapkido Institute also teaches law enforcement employees such as the San Francisco Police Department.

Chief Instructor:  Steve Menasche is an actor, musician and martial artist with over 18 years of teaching experience.   Steve holds a 4th degree Black Belt in Hapkido, a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Kodenkan Danzan Ryu Jujitsu    He has trained law enforcement personnel and led scores of self defense seminars for those that ordinarily would not enter a martial arts school.   He actively donates his time to high school and middle schools providing self defense classes for students.   Mr. Menasche has studied a variety of other movement arts and is a survivor of 28 years on New York subways.

All proceeds going to the BLIND JUDO FOUNDATION

Call or email to reserve a spot ASAP!

ONLY $10  If you can not afford to pay, please come anyway.  If you can afford to pay more, please do.  This is for a great cause.
